Northern Young Artists was founded in late 2007 by Sadie Mansell BA (hons) and Fiona Halliday BA (hons). Both were inspired by the loss of a support network after leaving university and were thus motivated to attempt to build a local group of artists who support each other through diversity, dialogue and critique.
We meet up regularly for critique and dialogue, discuss and create exhibitions, and explore further potentials for the group, such as workshops.
